Job Summary:
We are looking for a Media Planner to shape and execute effective media campaigns. Your job will be to identify and reach target audiences, as well as evaluate campaign success.
To succeed in this role, you should be a skilled communicator and decision-maker who can collaborate well with various teams. Knowledge of market research and a willingness to follow media trends are essential.
Your goal will be to optimize media campaigns to increase brand awareness and help achieve business goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gathering data to develop well-informed and effective strategic plans.
- Researching clients to understand them and their objectives.
- Develop and present media specific documents such as RFPs, company portfolio, profile and other related documents.
- Analyzing clients to uncover opportunities to stimulate growth.
- Planning and executing custom media solutions with a heavy focus on content development.
- Utilize media planning tools such as Nielsen, DoubleClick, for application/analysis into reporting.
- Report on campaign performance with the ability to distill and curate insights and findings.
- Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications in paid media environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge.
Skills
- 3–4 years in media planning.
- Ability to articulate strategy, rationale, and ideas.
- Experience with media planning and buying tools.
- Desire to learn more of the trends shaping consumer behavior today and in the future.
- good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, for liaising with colleagues, clients and media owners.
- a good grasp of literacy, for writing reports and presentations.
