This project strengthens the support for the provision of education to Syrian refugee children, as well as the ties of cooperation between double-shift schools to increase the quality of education and decrease the drop-out rates in public schools. The project tackles social cohesion in 100 double-shift schools among students and between parents of Syrian and Jordanian students by increasing their representation and role in School Improvement Committees (SICs). It supports the School and Directorate Development Programme (SDDP) and focuses on building the capacities at the school level through the provision of block grants, introducing innovative educational activities by connecting classrooms, establishing the revolving school book system, and enhancing parental and community participation in school committees.
