Proud To Be a Teacher provides an opportunity for teachers to be inspired and acknowledged. It aims to motivate teachers, build their knowledge, core skills, capacity, and increase their pride in their profession. It emphasizes teachers’ personal development though equipping them with social and interpersonal skills and encouraging them to work effectively in teams.
As a gesture of appreciation, Madrasati refurbishes the teachers' common rooms and equips them with various resources, so teachers can feel they have their independent space to work, think creatively, express themselves, discuss new imaginative ideas, share best practices and implement self-directed initiatives.

After attending “I am Driver” training and the renovation of teachers room, teachers felt empowered and they came up with ideas how to connect and socialize in a proactive way.
After rolling out the program in Husban Secondary School and starting with sessions, teachers have expressed their gratitude as they now have the space to connect, share experiences and learn.
Teachers room was over-crowded that teachers felt this has created a gap of communication between them. Now they feel it is their happy place where they can work and share experiences.
