Position Details:
Job Title:    Projects Senior Officer
Location:    Based in Amman with 40% field work 
Reports to:    Educational Programs Manager
Duration:    Full Time
Start date:    Immediately

Position Summary
The Projects Senior Officer supports the implementation of the eTwinning program in Jordan by strengthening collaboration between Jordanian schools and European partner schools through the European School Education Platform.

The role contributes support Jordanian schools and teachers in designing and implementing collaborative pedagogical projects with European schools, promote innovative teaching and learning practices, and contribute to enhancing language learning, digital skills, and intercultural dialogue. The role also contributes to strengthening the visibility and impact of eTwinning activities at the national level in coordination with the National Support Organization (NSO).
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Implementation
•    Plan, organize, and implement activities related to the eTwinning project in Jordan.
•    Support schools and teachers in initiating, designing, and managing eTwinning projects with European partners.
•    Provide technical and pedagogical guidance to participating schools throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Follow up on project progress and ensure alignment with eTwinning standards and Erasmus+ objectives.

Capacity Building and Support
•    Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and training for teachers and school leaders on how to effectively use the eTwinning platform.
•    Facilitate communication and collaboration between Jordanian and European schools.
•    Provide continuous support and troubleshooting for schools using the platform.

Promotion and Dissemination
•    Promote eTwinning at the national level through events, campaigns, and communication materials.
•    Disseminate best practices, success stories, and lessons learned from implemented projects.
•    Contribute to increasing the number of registered schools and active teachers on the eTwinning platform.

Coordination and Reporting
•    Prepare periodic and ad-hoc technical and narrative reports and submit them to the direct supervisor.
•    Maintain accurate documentation, records, files, and data related to all eTwinning activities.
•    Prepare drafts of activity plans, activity reports, and financial reports in coordination with the National Support Organization (NSO) team.
•    Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including schools, partners, NSO members, and the European School Education Platform representatives.

Event Management
•    Participate in the organization and implementation of seminars, conferences, training sessions, and other eTwinning-related events.
•    Provide logistical and technical support during events and training sessions.

Other:
•    Participate in planning and partners meetings as requested and when available.
•    Performs other duties as required by line manager.


Job Essential Requirements and Qualifications:

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
•    Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.
•    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
•    Problem solving and proactive approach
•    Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and multicultural partners.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, ICT or any related scientific field.
•    Proven knowledge and experience in project coordination and management.
•    Strong analytical, facilitation, presentation, and professional writing skills.
•    Excellent ICT skills; experience in digital content creation or media production is an asset.
•    Experience in managing educational projects and/or product management is preferred.
•    Good understanding of the public-school context in Jordan and familiarity with international educational programs.
