Since its establishment in 2008, Madrasati has worked to bring stakeholders together: government, private sector, civil society, and international partners, to create safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments where children learn with dignity, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
To date, Madrasati has reached more than 1,330 public schools across the Kingdom, benefiting approximately 21,000 teachers and administrative staff and over 420,000 students. Through its integrated, partnership-based approach, one in every three public schools in Jordan has already benefited from Madrasati’s interventions, positioning the initiative as a nationally embedded platform with proven scale, credibility, and impact.

Position Summary
The Communications and Visibility Senior Officer is responsible for leading Madrasati’s content, digital presence, communication planning and stakeholder engagement. This role focuses on storytelling, content strategy, and campaign coordination to showcase Madrasati’s impact, strengthen its brand identity, and engage key audiences (students, parents and caregivers, teachers, and education partners).
Working closely with program teams, partners, and media outlets, the officer ensures that Madrasati’s work is communicated clearly, consistently, and compellingly to national and international audiences.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Communication Strategy
· Develop and implement Madrasati’s annual and quarterly communication strategy.
· Maintain a structured editorial calendar aligned with key initiatives, campaigns, and events.
· Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
Content Creation
· Develop an annual, quarterly, and monthly communication and content plan aligned with Madrasati’s priorities.
· Create a detailed monthly content calendar and action plan for all platforms, including:
- Topic planning (choosing the right topics in accordance to local/global events and Madrasati’s most prominent projects and events happening)
- Content ideations (finding the most suitable content delivery, content format, content style and content trends for the right topics)
- Development of content copy (write clear, engaging captions and visual copies in Arabic & English)
- Video creation where needed (testimonials, stories, engaging pieces)
· Coordinate content distribution across platforms and ensure consistency of messaging and tone.
Digital and Social Media and Media
· Manage Madrasati’s social media channels and publishing schedules.
· Monitor performance, engagement, and audience growth.
· Respond to comments and messages in coordination with internal teams.
· Track trends and recommend content formats and improvements.
· Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to targeted media outlets.
· Manage relationships with media representatives (e.g. TV, radio, podcasts).
· Ensure content aligns with Madrasati’s values, child safeguarding principles, and cultural context.
Field Content and Visual Coverage
· Join field visits, events, and school activities to capture photos and videos.
· Record short-form videos using a mobile phone for reels, stories, and campaign content.
· Edit videos using simple mobile tools (e.g., CapCut, VN) for quick publishing.
· Organize and maintain a digital media library for all captured content.
· Support project teams in events planning and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Campaign Coordination and Brand Consistency
· Support the rollout of communication campaigns across different channels.
· Ensure all content follows Madrasati’s visual and tone guidelines.
· Coordinate with external designers, media agencies, or vendors when needed.
· Support internal teams with communication toolkits and content guidance.
Monitoring, Reporting and Documentation
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual communication performance reports.
· Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, content performance, and campaign results.
· Document key communication activities and support internal reporting needs.
· Provide insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.
Other:
· Participate in planning and partners meetings as requested and when available.
· Performs other duties as required by line manager.
Job Essential Requirements and Qualifications:
Core Competencies
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
· Creative thinking with a strong eye for design and detail.
· Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
· Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the Jordanian educational landscape.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in social media management, media production, or communications
· Demonstrated experience in conducting online/offline communication campaigns
· Demonstrated experience in content creation, visual storytelling, and brand development.
· Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
· Skilled in video editing apps (e.g., VN, CapCut)
· Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
